Dragondaze was a thing that definitely happened this weekend. I was a little surprised this year that there were only a few stalls selling new boardgames, and far more stalls were selling gaming accessories. I did grab a few pictures, but I was sort of chaotically disorganised this year. However, I'm counting it as a win that as my 20-year-old wizard hat was coming apart at the seams, I impulsively bought a new wizard hat from (I think) The Cotton Dragon stall. I'm not sure how well it shows up in the picture, but it's felt with gold and purple embroidery, and now I need many opportunities to wear it. Sadly, my delight in my new hat was tempered somewhat by the random abuse I got from an old guy outside the leisure centre because I was fat, but he was old, overweight and missing most of his teeth, so he'll probably be dead soon.
