Not that the gaming industry seems to be suffering from any lack of customers, but I've often thought games should come at various different levels, one being a largely story mode (depending on the type of game), one being a more midlevel mode, and one being an expert mode. There's a lot of games I'd probably be interested that I won't even bother trying (much less buy) because I can't see myself being able to play it.
