Fannish Fifty #7: Purplefringe Vid Recs

For this Fannish Fifty entry, I'd like to rec my two favourite vids made by purplefringe.
When I put together the playlists for the Vidder's Choice show at VidUKon each year, I tend to follow a pattern, and try to end the show on an upnote. By the time the last vid shows, it's usually late in the evening, and I usually spend a fair amount of time tyying to decide which vid to end the show on. One year, purplefringe submitted a Firefly vid about Zoe and Wash, and I knew the first time I saw it that it was the vid I wanted to end the show on. It's a beautifully made vid that makes me smile every time I see it; I have a small pool of vids I rewatch when I need a dose of good feelings, and this went into it straight away.
The second vid is also from VidUKon; L.O.V.E., and is based on the version of Much Ado About Nothing that Joss Whedon directed. When I saw it, I thought that it was a fun, wonderfully-paced vid with great comic timing. Then I heard someone describe it as the afterlife for Fred and Wesley from the Angel tv series, and I've never been able to think about it any other way ever since.
