Before the con, the idea of doing a rewatch of the Star Trek movies was mooted, andjb_slasher has discovered that there's a directors cut of the Star Trek: the Motion Picture out there/available for rent. I haven't seen the Motion Picture in a really, really long time, and I know at least one person who's never experienced it, so... would anyone be interested in watching the movie on Friday evening? And if the answer's yes, the theatrical version, or the director's cut?
