Dragon Age: Inquisition
Nov. 18th, 2014 06:02 pmSadly, it looks as if Dragon Age: Inquisition won't run on my PC, so it'll be at least a couple of years before I get to play it. Unless my PC explodes again - and I could really do without that, given all the electrical goods failures and house repairs I had to pay for this year.
I was hoping it might run, but apparently my PC has a dual core processor rather than the needed quad core, and having found people with the same spec and model as me getting mocked on the internet for being too stupid to know they didn't meet the minimum game requirements, I'm not going to chance it.
Maybe I should finish off my third ME3 playthrough and then try playing Dragon Age 2?
Or I could try and vid some more...

Date: 2014-11-19 05:28 pm (UTC)I think I'll probably go down the PC upgrade line at some point - I don't want to upgrade any time soon, because it'd mean having to move away from Win XP, but if I upgrade my PC it has utility for all sorts of things, whereas buying an old XBox 360 means I'd likely end up with a console I wouldn't use for long. Vidding isn't really driving any hardware upgrades at the moment, and I've managed to get two years-worth of satisfaction out of Dragon Age: Origins and the Mass Effect Trilogy alone, so it's not like I *need* to rush out and get an upgrade and a new game... but...
You'll still talk to me about Dragon Age 2 when I've played it, right?
