Sadly, I have no new comics this week because my comics dealer is moving house; so, I thought I'd post up something else instead. This is the playlist for the Horror vidshow I put together for VidUKon 2017, and it wouldn't have been anything like as good without loads of suggestions from kiki_miserychic, who deserves huge credit and thanks for making this possible.

Vidshow: Embrace The Power Of The Dark Side

Description: As a genre, horror movies - and horror vids - reach out to grip us. They push our heart rates up, prey on our emotions, scare us, terrify us... even make us laugh. Good horror works through the emotions, and through a mix of shocks, plausability, and unreality. The familiar can become every bit as terrifying as the unknown. Thank you so much for posting this, and with links. I did not get to see the show (I think because of the vidding still going on ;))but we were very intrigued by all the screaming, giggling and laughter, so I meant to check the show out. This will make it so much easier. :)

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post this one - I've kind of been hibernating ;) There were only six or eight of us in the show, but I think we might have been a bit vocal...

Some of the vids are a touch on the gory side, but I tried to strike a balance, and the majority of them I p icked because I thought they were doing interesting things. "I Kill People" is a vid that explores the idea that death is a female-gendered word in many languages, for example - I'd be interested to hear what you think of the show :)
